Sunday School

We have Sunday school classes for all ages. Our Sunday school is during the 10:00 hour. Whether you are a couple, single, or a family, you are welcome!

Nursing Home Ministry

Until Covid-19 restricted access, FBC Marshallville led a Sunday school class at the Oaks Nursing Home every Sunday. Each February the church sponsors a birthday party with finger foods and drinks to celebrate the birthdays of those residents having a birthday during the month. Members also provide gifts for the residents at Christmas. We love reaching out and connecting with our community!

Missions

FBC Marshallville supports the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) by giving to local, state, national, and worldwide missions. Separate offerings (the Annie Armstrong offering and the Lottie Moon offering) are also taken.

In addition to these SBC mission programs, members donate canned goods and other food pantry items for local needy families. We also donate clothing and household items to the Rehoboth Baptist Association Appalachian Ministry. In addition, each Christmas, members pack shoeboxes for the Appalachian Ministry which provides gifts to children of Appalachia who would otherwise receive nothing for Christmas. Some of our members have volunteered in various ministries such as working with the Appalachian Ministry sorting donations of clothing and household items, loading trucks, etc.

Members served at the Georgia National Fair at the BAby Changing Station (sponsored by the Rehoboth Baptist Association), others gave free ice water, gospel tracts, and gifts for children through Campers on Mission.

Joint Ministry Opportunities

FBC Marshallville and the Marshallville United Methodist Church alternate hosting Vacation Bible School each year. The choirs combine to present a musical program each Easter and Christmas. The churches also combine efforts for community projects and community-wide evangelistic services.
